This product is a glove air leakage testing machine, or glove leak tester, mainly used for testing different types of gloves for air leakage and automatically collecting qualified products.

This machine has stable operation, a low failure rate, and simple maintenance. The detecting system uses high-precision sensors to detect the surface area of gloves, which has high detection precision and shallow false detection and leakage rates. The pneumatic system collects and rejects the finished and waste products to prepare for the subsequent linkage.

1.What is a Glove Leak Tester? Understanding Glove Integrity Testing

(1) Qualified Gloves:

For qualified gloves that do not leak air after inflation, the internal pressure of the glove remains constant. When initially inflated, the gas temperature inside the glove is lower than room temperature. The glove passes through the first laser displacement sensor at room temperature, which records a diameter measurement. After 20 seconds, the glove reaches the second laser displacement sensor. During this period, the temperature inside the glove gradually increases due to the room temperature, causing the glove’s diameter to also change (increase).

(2) Gloves with Small Pinholes:

Due to the glove’s elasticity, when there is a slight leakage, the diameter will decrease within 20 seconds. However, the internal pressure of the glove will not change significantly. Only after a long period of leakage, when the glove loses its elasticity, will there be a change in the internal pressure of the glove!

2. Automatic air leakage detection machine operating procedures

1. Normal operation procedure of the equipment

1) In the normal production process, the operator as far as possible, the gloves will be flat and uniform on the fixture, the thumb towards the side, and the gloves should be put on the wrist over the sealing ring above the 15mm or so, no wrinkles at the wrist, the wrist height of the wrist is uniform, there should be no skewed severe phenomenon. Otherwise, it will lead to inaccurate test results;

Note: After the gloves are put on, the thumb can be directed to the left or right, and it is strictly prohibited to direct the thumb to the front or back. Otherwise, it will affect the detection accuracy!

3.How to use Glove Leak Tester safely?

To avoid injury, read the manual carefully before using the machine, fully understand its functions, and operate it in the prescribed manner. The machine should only be operated by trained professionals, not unqualified personnel.

Under no circumstances should the machine be turned manually to avoid damage to the equipment!
Before running the machine, check whether all switches and moving parts are in the correct position, be careful not to press the wrong switch, and do not touch any switch during operation.

4.How to operate the glove leak tester correctly?

★ Read the manual carefully before operating this equipment. Otherwise, it could damage the personnel and equipment.
★ Compressed air is the main power of the equipment’s action; you need to ensure that the compressed air pressure is not less than 0.6MPa and that there is no water, oil, or dust; otherwise, it will affect the detection effect, shorten the service life of the components, and even damage the equipment.

5. Common Failures and Causes of Equipment

1. Automatic stoppage of a machine head

Reason 1: A higher failure rate of products or glove operation by employees leads to a higher failure rate; thus, rejecting the same machine head many times in a row occurs rather than a problem with the equipment.

Solution: The operator clicks the ‘Alarm Initialisation ’ button on the function setting interface to release the alarm. The machine head starts to operate normally, and continuous rejecting no longer occurs (see the relevant contents of the operation manual for details).

6. Routine maintenance and servicing of equipment
